As relaxing as rain can be, sometimes it just sucks. Take today for instance. After a few days of very nice weather, the buckets started falling yesterday evening. I was unfortunate enough to be caught in it, because I was out taking care of some JB Burrage business work.
I guess I shouldn’t complain; Atlanta was in the middle of a bad drought this year. Do I have a point for this bitch-fest about the rain? No, not really.
But one thing’s for sure. I’m so exhausted. I’ve been going on pure energy for a while now, even when I’m taking meds. But my body is finally feeling it, especially over the last couple of days; especially today on this rainy day. It took a lot to get myself out of bed long enough to bring my computer in the bedroom, because I don’t want to sit in the office and I just don’t want to move. I just want to sleep.
But I can’t. I have a couple of things I need to do, so I just taking advantage of the down time now while I can. Of course, this is the Fourth of July weekend, so I’m pretty sure I’m going to be taking advantage of some of the festivities over the next few days; as long as it’s not raining. Hopefully somebody will throw some barbecue my way. I can take a good rack of ribs and burgers fresh off the grill right about now.
I’m closer to announcing what I’ve been working on. One of the things I had to do yesterday was take care of business that had everything to do with it. I spent a lot of time driving around metro Atlanta, yesterday, before settling for a little bit in between rain buckets to enjoying a plate of wings. Hopefully I can make my grand announcement in a month, two at the latest.
Regardless of if you’re celebrating the holiday or not, like always I want to wish everyone a wonderful and safe weekend.
The featured picture is not a picture that I took. Best and believe I’m not trying to be out in this weather, taking raining day photos. This photo was retrieved from a Google search, but in my opinion, it kind of adds a little poetic effect to this weather.
See you later, readers and fellow bloggers.
