It’s a sunny, early Friday evening here in the ATL, and no matter where you are in the world, I know that a majority of y’all are excited. While most of my week consists of working in my home office, building this blog or working on other projects; or recovering from the groggy effects of my nightly dose of medication; I know a lot of you have worked hard this week. So I toast to you (even though I do not have a drink in my hand).
For me, this is the end of a mixed week. It started fine, then transitioned to a kind of blah, now I’m feeling better. What are my plans for the weekend? Probably get fat and watch TV, with the occasional sneaking on social media to be nosy, or coming on here to post or check out what my fellow bloggers are talking about. Might even get a little work done with one of my projects I’ve been working on for months. I’m nearly 50 percent finished with that one, but took a break to focus on the blog and because I was losing the joy of working on it. Don’t ask, because I’m not going to tell you, yet.
Being here in Atlanta, the benefit of building a business, in particular a writing business, from home is that I don’t have to deal with the fucking traffic here…unless I have to. President Donald Trump (I almost vomited in my mouth saying that) is here, so you can imagine the traffic is especially horrendous. Atlanta isn’t the first place I’ve dealt with heavy traffic; when I was in the Army, I was stationed between Baltimore and Washington, DC, so I also dealt with DC traffic. In my opinion, it’s almost as bad, but not as bad, as Atlanta’s.
But I digress. Point of it all, I hope everyone have a great and relaxing weekend. If the weather is nice where you are, enjoy it. If it’s rainy where you are, enjoy it. Either way, enjoy this weekend. Y’all deserve it.
Until next time.
